The Wicks:  Chris and Ashley,
Tahlia, Mikaela, Braden, Karsten
 

Chris and Ashley Wick are now serving with Guidelight in Slovenia and have been supported by Scenic Park Bible Church beginning in 2012. Chris is the grandson of Mel and Evelyn Wick, charter members of SPBC, and Ashley is the daughter of Hal and Donna Lawson, who were SPBC members from 1996 to 2003.

Chris and Ashley met at The Master’s College in Los Angeles, California and they were married after graduation in 1999. Their four wonderful children are Tahlia (2004), Mikaela (2006), and twins Braden and Karsten (2009).  They have lived in Slovenia since 2012, spending ten years working with local churches to help reach next-generation youth with the hope of Christ.  For many years the Wick family has been uniquely involved with Guidelight, and in 2022 Chris began serving as Guidelight's Program Director for Eurasia.  The Wick family now partners with local churches to minister amonth the special-needs community in Slovenia, and beyond.
