The Millers: LeRoy and Sarah,
Addy, Brea, Caley, Day, Sam, Jesse
LeRoy and Sarah Miller are missionaries with Christian Missionary Clearinghouse (CMC) and are serving in Alaska. The Millers have been receiving prayer support from Scenic Park Bible Church, beginning in late 2011. LeRoy was first introduced to a member of SPBC when he came up and taught a Firm Foundation seminar with Paul and Pam Rasmussen.
LeRoy and Sarah went through New Tribes Missions (NTM) training, during which time they wrote a research paper on the Tlingit Indian tribe. At that time God gave them the calling to come to Alaska. While missionaries with New Tribes Missions, the Millers were caretakers of an NTM facility in Baker City, Oregon for six years. They moved to Alaska in 2013 when the NTM facility sold.
The Millers were accepted as missionary appointees with Voice For Christ Ministries (VFCM) in 2012. After two years of volunteer service with VFCM, the Millers realized that God was giving them a new direction in their service in Alaska. In 2016, they switched to an independent missions board, CMC, which allows them to serve alongside other mission organizations as they strive to equip Native leaders throughout Alaska.
The Millers have six children: Addy, born in Michigan (1998); Brea, born in Alaska (1999); Caley, born in Michigan (2000); Dayna, born in California (2003); Sam, born in Oregon (2007); and Jesse, born in Oregon (2013).
Pray for the Millers as they as they work alongside VFCM, Native New Life, Alaska Freedom Journey, and as they serve in the villages of Eagle and Tyonek, and the time they will spend at Kokrine Hills Bible Camp.
